The City of Chicago and the Office of Emergency Management and Communications are organizing the 2024 Whole Community Training Summit. This event is the third of a multi-year plan to provide whole community engagement and training for 2022 (Focus: Preparedness), 2023 (Focus: Response), and 2024 (Focus: Recovery). The next summit is scheduled for Monday, November 4th at DePaul University, Chicago. Our objectives are to continue engagement with stakeholders, provide essential training, share best practices, provide a forum for networking, and gain a better understanding of the changing needs of the various sectors.
The Whole Community Training Summit is a one-day event curated by OEMC and the Whole Community Planning Team for an audience of approximately 250 attendees. The Summit is an opportunity for your organization to receive exposure and join other individuals and companies to share information, materials, and products that can be helpful to private businesses, the public sector, and to community organizations. This will also create and strengthen community partnerships.
